City of Brantford Online Service Directory

Quick. Easy. Helpful
Providing information to the community that is quick, easy and helpful is the goal of the City of Brantford Online Service Directory.

The City of Brantford developed the Online Service Directory as an always available source of information for the close to 200 municipal programs and services it provides to the community. The directory provides customers online access to information 24/7 and the option to create a profile specific to their needs through the myBrantford website. "The directory will simplify our customers’ online experience with the City of Brantford. Our team has done an excellent job in developing an online tool that offers multiple ways to explore and find information,” says Mayor Chris Friel.

The Online Service Directory allows customers to search the database, using key words to find the information they are looking for, and to get in touch with a staff member or make an online request for further assistance. The directory provides details about programs and services, contact information for the position responsible for the delivery of the service, hours of operation, applicable fees (if required), links to the City’s social media presence on Facebook and Twitter for specific programs or services and a link to Google maps for the location of service.

Since the directory was established, customers have been using it to search for information about programs and services such as garbage pickup, water/utilities, parking, recycling, subsidies and local volunteer opportunities.

In addition, customers can also access information about services provided by outside organizations through the online service database directly from the service directory making it a one-stop-spot for information. Customers have the option of emailing the information they find to their home or mobile device for easy reference.

This is just the beginning to creating a positive customer service experience with the City of Brantford. The City is developing tools to be open and transparent and to provide information using technology and applications that meet the needs of the community.
